EKOKNITWEAR

Crafting knitwear inspired by nature

World of Fibres

Sustainability begins at the source—fibres. Natural fibres once overshadowed by synthetic yarns are making a strong comeback due to their durability breathability and minimal environmental footprint. Natural fibre yarns are made from renewable biodegradable or recycled materials minimizing the environmental impact of clothing production.

At EKOKNITWEAR we are committed to working with natural fibres ensuring ethical long-lasting fashion choices. Our selection includes soft insulating Merino, Shetland, lambswool and Corriedale for jumpers and cardigans. Wensleydale, Leicester Long wool and Blue faced Leicester are more suitable for woven fabric and inlay knitting. For unmatched luxury Cashmere, Guanaco and Alpaca offer exquisite softness. Herdwick, Exmoor Horn and Romney provide durability ideal for outerwear and homewares.

For plant-based and vegan alternatives breathable cotton, cool flax-linen and sustainable bamboo deliver comfort and performance while Peace Silk preserves silk’s elegance without harm to the silkworm.

By embracing natural fibres we take a step towards a fashion and lifestyle that values longevity, quality and responsibility.
